I am pleased to be a team player with Lorraine Moulton of the Kamloops Centre for Therapy. Our visions are similar. We all want to promote harmony, respect, conflict resolution and good problem solving skills in the people we work with. My commitment is to resolve conflicts respectfully and maturely.
On a personal note, I am married with 3 grown children. I have spent my life in smaller communities – which might explain why I am a forester and a naturalist – or the other way around.
My work has evolved over time to concentrate on mediation and group facilitation in circumstances where there are cultural differences in approach. I am experienced in family, workplace, and business mediations, where I specialize in getting beyond positions, to focus on the interests of the parties. I have significant training and experience dealing with substance use issues and multicultural issues involving race and gender differences.
